Description
A dead man walks once more - THE FALCON: LUCHADOR DETECTIVE investigates all things evil and supernatural in the city of El Santos. But is he prepared for the appearance of the mysterious BARON SAMEDI? And who is the beautiful DOMINO?
My character design assignment - The Falcon. In case you hadn't guessed he's a luchador detective.
The idea didn't come from anywhere in particular, I just thought Mexican wrestling and film noir would make an interesting combination. At first the concept leaned more towards film noir and was very serious, but eventually I started going in a more pulp direction inspired by stuff like Lobster Johnson and Hellboy. Globe trotting, Nazi/zombie/demon punching sort of thing.
Also note my continued obsession with Baron Samedi. He's just got all the aesthetics of an excellent villain.

Before I read the entire description, I Google'd The Falcon hoping it was an actual comic lol. Awesome idea, now we wait for someone to pick it up.
